1. Open a new image 400x550 transparent. Set your foreground color to black,
your background color to a yellow of your choice. I've used #FFFFBF. Add a new layer
and name it chicken. Load the fbn_chicken_body sel and fill it with black, contract
by one and fill it with the yellow. We will continue to fill with black and contract,
then fill with the second color throughout this tutorial, saving as you go. Next
load the fbn_chicken_wing1, fill with black, contract, fill with yellow. Repeat for
fbn_chicken_wing2. Load the fbn_chicken_comb, fill with black, contract and fill
with a nice bright orange. Load the fbn_chicken_beak and repeat fill, contract
and fill again. Deselect. Save.
2. Add a new layer. Foreground color black and background color white. Load the fbn_sheep_foot1, fill, contract and fill again. Repeat for
fbn_sheep_foot2. Here we will have to add another layer so the fbn_sheep_foot3
can be in front of the other feet. Fill, contract, fill. Load the fbn_sheep_tail and
repeat the fill process. Add another layer for the fbn_sheep_body and fill, contract,
fill. Another layer for the fbn_sheep_ear1, load, fill, contract and fill again. Repeat
for fbn_sheep_ear2. Load fbn_sheep_head2, fill, contract, fill, deselect.
Turn off Layer 1 and the Chicken layer, merge visible the sheep layers. Save.
3. New layer, black foreground and a nice pink for the background color. I've used
#FFC0C0. Load the fbn_pig_foot1, fill with black, contract and fill with pink. Repeat
for fbn_pig_foot2. Load the fbn_pig_tail and repeat fill, contract, fill. Add a new
layer and load the fbn_pig_body, fill, contract, fill. New layer and load the
fbn_pig_head, fill, contract, fill. Load the fbn_pig_mouth and repeat. New layer and
load the fbn_pig_nose, do the fill, contract, fill and then load the fbn_pig_nostril,
repeat and do the same for fbn_pig_nostril2. Load the fbn_pig_ear1, fill, contract
and fill, repeat for fbn_pig_ear2. Turn off Layer1, Chicken and Sheep layers and merge
visible the pig layers. Rename this layer Pig. Save.
4. New layer for the Cow, black and white are the colors. Load the
fbn_cow_body, fill, contract, fill, deselect. Add a new layer. Load the fbn_cow_leg1 and fill,
contract, fill. Repeat for fbn_cow_leg2. New layer and load the
fbn_cow_head. While still on this layer, switch your background to the pink color, load the
fbn_cow_nose, fill, contract, and fill. Repeat for fbn_cow_nostril1 and
fbn_cow_nostril2. New layer and load the fbn_cow_mouth, fill, contract, fill.
Swtich your background color to the white again, load the fbn_cow_ear1 and repeat.
Load the fbn_cow_ear2 and fill with black. No need to contract or fill with white.
Now load the fbn_cow_horns and fill with black, contract and fill with a dark
gray color, I've used #808080.
5. Add a new layer for the head spot. Load the fbn_cow_spot_head, fill. Deselect.
Now load the fbn_cow_head selection, invert and delete. New layer, load the
fbn_cow_spot_ear, fill with black. Load the fbn_cow_ear1, invert and delete.
New layer, load fbn_cow_spot_leg1, fill, then load the fbn_cow_leg2, invert and
delete. Repeat for the fbn_cow_spot_leg2, fill. Load the fbn_cow_leg1, invert and
delete. Now it looks like I've made a mistake on the steps but I haven't, follow them.
Now turn off Layer1 and the Chicken, Sheep and Pig layers and merge visible. Save.
6. And finally we have some details to add so we need one more layer, load
the fbn_barnyard_details and fill with black. You might have to zoom in to better
see where to fill.
7. After you've finished your details you can add a final layer and put some blush
on the animals then merge all layers visible and export as a tube or save as is.
