Parents are natural problem-solvers—ready to improvise, adapt and advocate when their child’s needs aren’t met. So when Brady Crandall saw the diaper industry had left kids like his daughter behind, he didn’t just get frustrated—he got to work.
Crandall’s daughter was born with a severe brain injury called hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE), which resulted in multiple disabilities, including cerebral palsy that requires her to use a wheelchair. As she grew, Crandall and his wife found themselves facing a frustrating reality. “There are no options for kids after they outgrow the baby diapers, until they’re big enough for the adult diapers,” Crandall told Denver 7 News. Rather than settle for an uncomfortable or inadequate solution, he launched Youth Crews—a diaper line designed specifically for kids 4-17, who fall between the baby and adult diaper categories.
Youth Crews are thoughtfully designed to provide comfort, functionality and dignity for children with disabilities. With age-appropriate styles, kids aren’t stuck in babyish prints or limited to clinical, adult-style diapers. Soft, breathable fabric and adaptive features ensure a comfortable fit whether sitting or standing. Plus, Youth Crews offers both waist and weight sizing, making it easier for parents to find the right fit for their child.

The result? A product that gives families one less thing to worry about. “Our diapers hope to bring fit, comfort and dignity,” Crandall shared. “Diapers are a tangible problem that affect thousands of kids, just like Gilli, and so if I can help fix that basic need, that’s really rewarding.”
While Youth Crews was born from a specific need, its reach is broader than Crandall expected. Families of older children dealing with incontinence, bedwetting or medical conditions have also found relief in the brand’s thoughtful design and sizing. “This isn’t just about diapers,” Crandall added. “It’s about building a community where every family feels understood, supported, and proud of who they are.”
